| About Keith Lubell |
| Keith Lubell was born and raised in Los Angeles where he learned the craft of Stained Glass as a child. He graduated from Middlebury College (Vermont) having studied Physics and Painting. Afterwards he also studied Drawing and Painting at the Art Students' League of New York, and The New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture, both in New York City. |
| In 1990, Keith Lubell moved to Barcelona (Spain), where he had a Painting studio. He took an active role in the local cultural life, having numerous Exhibitions of his art at such galleries as Altarriba Art Galeria, Arcs & Cracs Galeria and the Institut d'Estudis Nord-Americans (Institute of North American Studies). |
| Shortly after having moved to Barcelona, Keith Lubell also set up a Stained Glass Studio, inspired by the numerous local works from the Gothic and Moderniste periods. This studio created numerous glass windows located in residences in Barcelona. He also completed commissions for San Kil, a Korean Restaurant, and the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business at Barcelona. |
| In 1996, Keith Lubell moved back to New York City, where he has established another glass studio in the East Village. Since 2000, he has been designing and making lighting fixtures our of metal and glass. |
